I have used other merchandise reminiscent of zovirax and they trigger my skin to go all crusty and messy however there none of these effects with lysine. The following is probably not correct as I'm not an professional but as I perceive it lysine cream would not include any anti viral properties however it does comprise lysine which helps your body repair skin and improves your capacity to heal. Overall I like this cream.
